This is our philosophy and the mission of Red Rocks Radiation Oncology.  Cancer treatment is coordinated and integrated within a comprehensive outpatient cancer center that includes surgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology, diagnostic imaging, physical therapy, and a cancer patient navigator all under one beautiful new roof!

Radiation Therapy is the branch of medicine that deals with the treatment of cancer by delivering high-energy beams directly to the intended target.  Radiation Therapy has two equally important goals – to control the growth of the tumor and to do so while minimizing exposure to the surrounding normal, healthy tissue.

Our Physicians

	Kevin Schewe, M.D. Medical Director, Red Rocks Radiation Oncology Renowned and Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist, Dr. Kevin L. Schewe, has devoted his 25-year medical career and practice in the fight against cancer.  Best known for his innovative and successful implementation of techniques utilized in the field of radiation oncology, Dr. Schewe is regarded as an influential leader in cancer treatment.
	Wendy Nekritz, M.D. Dr. Nekritz is a Board Certified radiation oncologist with over fifteen years of professional experience in the Denver area.   Through this experience and her own personal philosophy, Dr. Nekritz believes that people respond in a more positive manner when they are educated about their disease and feel empowered to influence how they are treated.
	Tyler Kemmis, M.D. Dr. Kemmis was drawn to the field of Radiation Oncology where groundbreaking advances in technology offered hope for those dealing with a challenging battle.  Dr. Kemmis has enjoyed practicing Radiation Oncology in Denver at multiple sites with a special interest in stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) and stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT).
